A transfer bonus is current only through its sourced end instant, at the confidence on that row. The live list is the bonus ledger. The sourced end instant is the clock an issuer or partner page states. When no source states a time, that instant is 11:59 PM Eastern. When the only clock on the row comes from anywhere else, the countdown uses the earlier of the stored clock and 11:59 PM Eastern on the end date. A roundup that keeps the partner and drops the zone, the confidence, or a second date is a different claim. This article is how a row is kept, and how to judge one before points move.

The rows below were checked in the ledger on October 25, 2026. This article was checked against those files on October 26, 2026.

Chase Ultimate Rewards, Bilt Rewards, and Wells Fargo Rewards sit in the same ledger. As of the October 25, 2026 files, those three programs have no bonus row. Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards do. An empty set of files means the program is not logged yet. A new row appears on the ledger.

What a row holds

Each bonus file records the program, the partner, the percent, the base ratio, the boosted ratio, the start, the end, the time zone when a source states one, the sources, and a confidence level. The boosted ratio equals the base ratio times (1 + percent ÷ 100). The site checks block a row unless that identity holds.

Confidence is one of three labels.

  • Verified. An issuer page, a partner page, or a cardmember page states the bonus. State it plainly.
  • Likely. Shown as unconfirmed: reported by at least two secondary sources on different sites, and not yet on the issuer's own pages.
  • Conflict. The sources disagree. The row names each claim and uses the earliest end.

Confidence and the conflicts list are separate fields. A verified row can still carry claims it left on the record. Read both.

The worked row is Amex Membership Rewards to Aeromexico Rewards, checked October 25, 2026. Open it on the Aeromexico corridor.

On American Express: Membership Rewards transfer partners (cardmember transfer page), the stored terms promise 20% more Aeromexico Rewards points through 10/30/2026. That line states a date. The 11:59 PM MT clock is attributed, in the file notes, to a secondary source. Check the boosted ratio against the base: 1,600 × (1 + 20 ÷ 100) = 1,920, so 1,000 Amex points become 1,920 Aeromexico Rewards points.

Time zones

Every end time carries a zone. The ledger already has all three patterns.

No source states a time. The Amex to Marriott Bonvoy row is +35%, base 1,000 : 1,000, boosted 1,000 : 1,350, from Oct 20, 2026 through Dec 10, 2026. The cardmember terms say through 12/10/2026. The notes say no source states an end time or a zone. End time not stated; we treat it as 11:59 PM Eastern, the earliest US end.

A partner page states the clock. Capital One to British Airways Club is +20%, base 1,000 : 1,000, boosted 1,000 : 1,200, from Oct 1, 2026 through Oct 31, 2026. The row's stored terms, taken from British Airways Club: collecting Avios (US page) and checked October 25, 2026, state an end at 11:59 PM ET on October 31. The file notes that the page text includes the year 2026. That partner page supplies the clock, so the countdown uses 11:59 PM ET on Oct 31, 2026.

The stored clock is not on an issuer or partner page. The countdown then takes the earlier of that stored instant and 11:59 PM Eastern on the end date. America/Denver is behind America/New_York, so 11:59 PM MT on a given date falls later than 11:59 PM ET the same evening. On the Aeromexico row, the countdown therefore stops at 11:59 PM ET on Oct 30, 2026. The row still prints 11:59 PM MT and marks the gap. The Flying Blue row uses the same pattern: stored clock 11:59 PM MT, countdown at 11:59 PM ET on its end date, because Eastern comes first.

Disagreements stay on the record

A claim left beside the adopted figure stays in the file. When a cardmember or partner page settles an end date, the change log gets a dated, sourced discrepancy. A correction is a separate entry: the old value, the new value, and the date, written when our own figure was wrong. As of October 26, 2026, the log contains discrepancy entries and no correction entry. The four disagreements below keep both sides.

Amex to Aeromexico Rewards, +20%. The ledger ends Oct 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM MT. Three logged claims place the end on Oct 31, 2026. One of them also puts the Mountain Time clock on that later date. Confidence is verified, from the cardmember date of 10/30/2026. The discrepancy is logged on Oct 25, 2026. The row uses Oct 30 because the cardmember page states it. Oct 30 is also the earlier date, and the three Oct 31 claims stay on the row.

Amex to Flying Blue, +25%. Base 1,000 : 1,000, boosted 1,000 : 1,250, start Oct 1, 2026. The ledger ends Oct 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM MT (23:59, America/Denver). The cardmember terms say through 10/31/2026. Two logged claims end the bonus on Oct 30, 2026. Confidence is verified. The discrepancy is logged on Oct 25, 2026. The row keeps Oct 31, the cardmember date, which is the later date. The earliest-end rule is for a row whose confidence is conflict, meaning the disagreement is still open. This row is verified. The Oct 30 claims stay visible on the Flying Blue corridor and in the Oct 25, 2026 log entry.

Capital One to Virgin Red, +30%. Base 1,000 : 1,000, boosted 1,000 : 1,300 (1:1.3). Start Oct 21, 2026. End Nov 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (23:59, America/New_York). The stored clock is already 11:59 PM ET, so the countdown and the label share that instant. The label still carries the mark for a clock that did not come from an issuer or partner page. The file has no issuer page for the bonus. Unconfirmed: reported by three secondary sources; not yet on Capital One's own pages. The percent and the ratio meet in the identity 1,000 × (1 + 30 ÷ 100) = 1,300. A logged claim's worked example is 7,500 points against 6,000 miles. Divided, 7,500 ÷ 6,000 = 1.25, beside the row's 1.3. The row keeps 1,000 : 1,300 and keeps 1.25 on the record. That split is on the Virgin Red corridor. The October 25, 2026 discrepancy entries cover the two Amex end dates. This ratio split stays on the bonus row.

Citi ThankYou to Qatar Airways Privilege Club, top tier +35%. The partner page is Qatar Airways Privilege Club: Global Points Exchange, October 2026. The stored terms set the window from 00:00 on Oct 1, 2026 to 23:59 on Oct 31, 2026, GMT+3. They name Citibank in the USA as a participating partner, and they say bonus Avios post by Nov 30, 2026. The row stores that clock as 11:59 PM in Asia/Qatar. The partner page states the clock, so the countdown uses it. The notes add that Qatar Airways sponsors and credits the bonus, and that it is not shown at transfer.

The percent on the row is the top tier. The notes measure each tier on one transaction, in Avios: 15% up to 49,999 Avios, 25% from 50,000 to 99,999, and 35% at 100,000 or more. On the premium-card base, 1,000 × (1 + 35 ÷ 100) = 1,350, so the boosted ratio is 1,000 : 1,350. A logged claim states those bands in points converted. Confidence stays verified. The row keeps the Avios unit. See the Qatar corridor.

The unit changes the tier on a no-fee ThankYou card, whose base to Qatar is 1,000 : 700 before the bonus. On the premium base, 100,000 points convert at 1:1 to 100,000 Avios, which is the 35% band either way the unit is read. On the no-fee base, 100,000 × 700 ÷ 1,000 = 70,000 Avios. 70,000 sits in the 25% Avios band (50,000 to 99,999). The points wording would call 100,000 points the 35% band. Read the unit on the row for the card you hold.

How to judge one row

Use the ledger row, then the calculator. The percent is one input. The ratio, the end instant, and the confidence decide the transfer.

For Aeromexico, 1,920 ÷ 1,000 = 1.92 partner points per Amex point. Break-even cents per partner point = your value for one Amex point ÷ 1.92.

These published figures are opinions, with the publisher and the date:

  • The Points Guy values an Amex point at 2.0¢ and an Aeromexico Rewards point at 0.8¢, in valuations published October 1, 2026.
  • Frequent Miler's Reasonable Redemption Values put an Amex point at 1.5¢, updated October 8, 2026. That snapshot has no Aeromexico Rewards value.

At the 2.0¢ opinion, 2.0 ÷ 1.92 = 1.04166…, which rounds to 1.04¢. The Points Guy's 0.8¢ opinion of the partner point sits under 1.04¢, so those two opinions say the bonus trails holding the Amex point. At the 1.5¢ opinion, 1.5 ÷ 1.92 = 0.78125, which rounds to 0.78¢. With no Frequent Miler figure for Aeromexico Rewards, that comparison stops at the break-even. Rounding is to two decimals.

Put your own value for an Amex point into the calculator, and price the award you will book.

Read confidence before the math. The Virgin Red row is unconfirmed, and its 1.25 versus 1.3 split is still on the file. A break-even that assumes 1.3 describes the row we kept, with that claim still attached.

Before you transfer

  • Transfers can't be undone. The end instant matters before the points leave, and the about page states that limit.
  • Re-check the row's end time on the ledger the day the points move. The Aeromexico row (Oct 30) and the Flying Blue row (Oct 31) are the reason: another write-up can be one day off, and the log keeps both dates.
  • The Amex program file lists a transfer time of 48 hours for Aeromexico Rewards, for Flying Blue, and for Marriott Bonvoy. A transfer started on the last day can still be in motion when the countdown reaches 11:59 PM ET.
